There is no better way to appreciate the incomparable beauty of Paris than by a walk alongside the quays, over the many bridges, and over the islands of the city's main waterway, the River Seine. Pont Mirabeau, a stunning retail destination allows the visitor to do this virtually. Masses of buildings constructed in the Second Empire architectural style (1865 - 1880), which the popular imagination most associates with Paris, line the central waterway - the effect is powerful and very convincing. As soon as I arrived at this destination, I immediately knew what effect the builder was trying to create here -- fashionable and chic Paris immortalized as the City of Light. Anyone who is interested in great Second Life architecture and sim design would appreciate a visit.
